The role:

Oxfam, in partnership with Plan International, seeks to hire a Youth and Social Inclusion expert/specialist for the upcoming EARN (Economic Acceleration and Resilience for NEET youth) project, funded by the World Bank. The project offers education, skills development, and support for employment and entrepreneurship. Key components include creating employer linkages, enhancing employability through Socio-Emotional Behavior (SEB) and Entrepreneur Development (ED) skills, and providing incubation support. To ensure participation from women and other underserved segments, the project will promote an enabling environment through targeted awareness programs, family-based planning, counseling, and community involvement in planning and monitoring. The Youth and Social Inclusion Expert plays a crucial role in driving Oxfam’s mission in Bangladesh by empowering young people and fostering inclusive societies.
