HR & Payroll Officer

Summary of Responsibilities
  • Develop company's HR strategy, policy and practices and ensure that these policies are understood and applied fairly and effectively.
  • Involving in the local and expatriate staff recruitment processes as focal HR person
  • Working as the main guide for Payroll Management / Team Leader to control and validate monthly salary, allowances, incentives, bonuses as per company policy for local and expatriate staff.
  • Prepare different HR related letters and documents including NOCs and employment letters.
  • Preparing Learning Strategy for the office in line with assessed learning needs budgeting and forecasting learning needs and providing recommendations to Senior Management to implement learning activities in order to prioritization.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with organization's policy.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
  • Acting role play as a mentor for new staff orientation interpreting any corporate guidance and messages relating to appraisal system, grievance procedures, home leave policy, etc.
  • Dealing with staff queries, and concerns (e.g., on discrimination, payroll, leave, etc.), responding to any queries coming from local or foreign staffs
  • Keeping liaison with other stakeholders (e.g., Insurance Company, Lawyers, etc.) as required contributing to salary survey for other organizations.
Position Requirements
Education
  • MBA in HRM/ MSS in Public Administration/Any related subjects from reputed public or private universities.
Desired Skills & Competencies
  • At least 8 years working experience in core HR
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Compensation/ Benefits/ Attendance/ Leave Management, HR Operations, Performance Appraisal Management, Training & Development.
  • Working experience in Construction Industry
  • Must have good command of English in both written and verbal
