OPM Bangladesh

OPM’s Bangladesh office are looking for public policy and development experts to work with OPM on short- and long-term projects across a range of sectors. About OPM: Oxford Policy Management enables low- and middle-income governments to bring about lasting positive change using analytical and practical policy expertise. Through our global network of offices, we work in partnership with national decision makers to research, design, implement and evaluate impactful public policy.

The Bangladesh office has implemented over 70 different projects, both large and small, across social policy, economic policy, and governance. Currently we are implementing health evaluations for donors, partners and government, providing technical assistance in the health and the education sector, running large scale research studies on political economy and social protection, and more. We are looking to expand our responsiveness to project delivery and new work, with a network of professionals with experience in our key areas of work that include:

  • Climate change and disaster risk
  • Urban policy and planning
  • Public financial management
  • Public sector governance
  • Natural resources and energy
  • Health, nutrition, social protection and other areas of social policy

We would love to hear from you, if you’d like to work in partnership on potential opportunities. You must have the right to work in Bangladesh, in general we are interested in experienced consultants with at least 6 years’ experience, usually much more. In addition to sector experts we’re looking for consultants with team leadership experience, quantitative and qualitative analysis skills (Stata, Nivivo and R for example), Monitoring and Evaluation experience, experience working with the Government of Bangladesh at Ministry level, as well as with donor/client project experience.
