Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Head of Business Development to drive growth and expand our service ecosystem. This role is pivotal in scaling our digital platform, creating strategic partnerships, and enhancing user experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Growth: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive user acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth.
- Partnerships & Alliances: Identify, negotiate, and establish key partnerships with service providers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Market Expansion: Drive initiatives for geographical and service expansion across Bangladesh, leveraging market insights and analytics.
- Revenue Management: Develop revenue models, pricing strategies, and monetization frameworks aligned with business goals.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the business development team, setting clear goals, ensuring accountability, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Performance Analysis: Track and analyze key metrics, presenting insights to senior management to guide business strategy.
- Customer Focus: Collaborate with product, marketing, and customer experience teams to ensure the platform meets the evolving needs of our users.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 7+ years in business development, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role within a digital platform or marketplace.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Bangladesh digital economy and familiarity with service marketplaces.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven experience in setting and executing strategies that drive growth in a dynamic environment.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to use data to make informed business decisions, with a solid understanding of performance metrics and KPIs.
- Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to build lasting partnerships.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
