NTV, a leading private Satellite Television Channel is looking for energetic & proactive individual for the following position:
Job Title: Set Designer
Major Responsibilities & Requirements
- Understanding production specifications and collaborating with the director to design the layout and look of the set using pencil sketches and software
- Liaising with the costume, prop, make-up, lighting and camera crews to confirm set details
- Supervising set making and communicating with set builders
- Selecting lighting, furniture, wall and floor coverings and all other props used on set
- Providing cost estimates
- Inspecting stage entrances and exits to ensure the set is positioned correctly and also performing quality assurance on all aspects of the set
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the management.

Education & Qualification:
- Graduation in Fine Arts from any reputed University with good academic record
Experience:
- At least 5-6 years of experience on the said post
- TV experience will get preference
Skills & Specifications:
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (MS-Word, MS-Excel, Internet Browsing, e-mail).
- Knowledge of 3D design, architecture or interior design would be treated as additional advantage
- Excellent creative intelligence and time management skills
- A good eye for detail and the ability to generate many ideas
- Ability to work independently and desire to work beyond general working hours under immense pressure.
- Candidate should be smart and well mannered.
