National Tuberculosis Control Program (NTP) invites applications from suitable candidates for the position of Laboratory Support Staff with Tuberculosis Program funded by Global Fund. The appointment will be made on Contractual Service Agreement basis for 10 months which is renewable depending on performance and availability of funds. The position will report to Line Director (TB-L and ASP).

Salary & Benefits: 10,000/ -(consolidated) per month inclusive of house rent and conveyance allowances. No other benefit is admissible.

Posting location: Any where in Bangladesh

Duties & responsibilities:

• Clean laboratory working area regularly;
• Clean office furniture to maintain dust free environment on a regular basis;
• Dispose Waste / biomedical waste in a proper way;
• Help to prepare materials for autoclaving;
• Clean culture bottles, reagent beaker/bottles/measuring cylinders/dropping bottles etc.
• Arrange lab stuffs;
• Work closely with MT Labs and Lab assistant/attendant.

Required qualifications and experience:

Education: SSC or equivalent from any recognized Education board

Experience: At least 2 years of experience of progressively lab cleanliness and maintenance experience in big lab chain or laboratory.

Skills:

• Good knowledge of office procedures and practices;
• Should understand in English and Bengali;
• Basic understanding of using a computer (MS-Office).
