Job Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Manage day-to-day CBS operations, maintenance, and user support
  • Troubleshoot application-level issues and escalate to vendor if necessary
  • Implement CBS parameter/configuration changes as per business requirements
  • Support and coordinate CBS upgrades, patch deployments, module rollouts, new features addition, existing feature enhancement.
  • Participate in requirement gathering, functional testing, and UAT coordination.
  • Support interface management with external channels like Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, ATM, SMS Gateway, RTGS, NPSB, and API services.
  • Conduct pre/post-deployment validations for CBS updates.
  • Prepare system documentation, SOPs, and audit responses
  • Monitor transaction processing and ensure timely EOD/BOD activities
  • Maintain backup & recovery procedures, security policies, and change management logs
  • Strong command of PL/SQL for writing procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.

Educational Requirement:

  • B.Sc. / M.Sc. from reputed university with satisfactory academic track record.
  • Candidate having degree in CS/CSE/IT or equivalent fields is preferred;
  • No 3rd Division / Class is allowed at any level of Education.  

Experience Requirement:

  • At least 1-8 years of work experience in Banks / Banking Software Vendor;

Additional Requirement:

  • Strong understanding of core banking concepts (General Banking, GL, loans, deposits, Treasury).
  • Familiarity with local clearing systems (BACH, RTGS, BEFTN, NPSB).
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and navigate both lateral and upward communication effectively.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
