Age Limit: Maximum 50 years as on 02.08.2025

Major Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies, budget and forecasts.
  • Financial Operations: Oversee accounting, financial reporting, regulatory compliance and internal controls.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring bank’s stability and solvency.
  • Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate financial performance to the authority, investors and other stakeholders.
  • Fixed Asset Management: Proven ability to manage the bank’s fixed asset including asset tagging and its amortization/depreciation.
  • Capital Management: Manage the bank’s capital structure and optimize its use.
  • Leadership & Others Affairs: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Stay update industry specific knowledge and assist others departments/units within the functions and cross-functions.

Experience & Skills:

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant financial software & system.
  • Expertise in financial planning, analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of the local market & regulatory environment.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Minimum 10 years of extensive experience in financial management within the banking or financial institutions, with minimum 3 (three) years of experience in banking accounts system and tax-related activities.
  • Specific experience in areas like asset-liability management, treasury operations/management, regulatory reporting and the guidelines on corporate governance principles for banks.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualifications:

Ensure that the candidate for the position of CFO meets the following eligibility criteria:

a. Character References:

  • The applicant has no criminal convictions.
  • The applicant has not been convicted of any violations of rules, regulations, laws, or acts by any regulatory authority.
  • The applicant has not been dismissed or terminated from employment due to financial embezzlement, corruption, fraud, forgery, or ethical misconduct.

b. Employment Record:

  • The individual maintains a clean employment record.
  • He/she has not been involved in any illegal activities during their tenure in banking or their professional career.

c. Integrity and Financial Soundness:

  • The individual is not a loan defaulter with any bank or financial institution.
  • He/she has never been declared bankrupt by a court at any time.

d. Conflict of Interest:

  • The individual has no business interests with the bank.
  • He/she does not hold a position as a director, whether based on personal qualifications or on behalf of any institution, in any business organization.

e. Educational Qualification:

  • The candidate must possess a CA/CMA/CFA or an equivalent professional degree, or MBA/MBM or Master Degree in Economics/ Finance/ Accounting/ Banking from a reputable public university or a UGC-approved/ recognized private university.
  • No third division or class in any academic record is acceptable.
