With support from governments and partners in India, Bangladesh, and Indonesia, Noora Health has trained more than 3.5 million caregivers across 460+ facilities using their flagship caregiver education and training curriculum through the unique way of Care Companion Program (CCP).

In a cohort of patients, the program reduced post-surgical cardiac complications by 71%, maternal complications by 12%, newborn complications by 16%, and newborn readmissions by 56% in India.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

The organization's goal is to expand its current work in all health service facilities of the DGFP and DGHS of Bangladesh and to serve patients, where we will develop, launch, and implement a context-specific, needs-based, interactive, and adaptable intervention. Noora Health will introduce new modalities of training and decentralize training facilitation for service providers. As per Noora Health strategic plan, there will be around 38 ToTs and 4 Booster trainngs in divisional and district level for the year 2024. The training execution will follow both in-person and hybrid (combination of online and offline) modalities. Being a training Consultant, you need to support the training team in the smooth implementation of the training program, ensure adherence to standards, and to conduct TOTs for SSNs, midwives, and other health care providers on the CCP. You will be actively and sometimes independently involved in all kinds of training preparations and managements like, preparations of logistics & training materials during,  pre and post training periods, facilitations, and writing reports after training. There will be a couple of simultaneous ToTs every  month and  you need to lead one or  more of those ToTs every month. You will be also involved in development of curriculum, writing trainers’ manual, and other documents relevant to the training modalities etc.

There will be frequent travel throughout Bangladesh each and every month.

You will work with the training team and report to the Training Lead.

EXPECTATIONS

  • Professional experience of minimum 8-10 years in capacity building on public health sectors under reputed NGO, INGO
  • Have good coordination experience with different stakeholder including govt
  • Having contextualize basic knowledges and practices on health education
  • Proactive, energetic and well organized
  • Have experience of conducting ToTs individually and independently
  • Having experience in managing ToT/Training team in the respective event
  • Ability to fit in and be a team player
  • Keep close coordination within the team
  • Ability to conduct ToTs in the urban and rural health sectors setups
  • Willing to travel to remote places when required.  

SKILLS REQUIRED 

  • Good communication skills
  • Presentable and entertaining training skills
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and teaching techniques
  • Basic computer skills- email, G-drive, windows office, WhatsApp, PowerPoint etc.
  • Handling of training accessories
  • Instant decision-making skills during critical situation
  • Ability to work proactively, both independently and be a team player
  • Ability to take initiatives
  • Knowledge of the different dialects will be an added advantage 

DELIVERABLES OF CONSULTANT

  • Report: The consultant will be reporting to the Training Lead in Bangladesh Noora Health
  • Training preparation: Before ToTs S/he will engage in preparatory activities of the training team including mock session conduction and participation
  • Facilitation:
  • Consultant will support designing, developing training plans.
  • Conduct ToTs both in-person, hybrid, and other modalities
  • Seek current training methods and best practices to facilitate training
  • Manage: Overall management of training arrangements including venue preparation, logistics, collaterals, training materials, online platform (google meet, zoom, etc.), also provide support to effectively organize and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously
  • Making attractive powerpoint presentations
  • Prepare training report: Write a training report and share with the training team, receive feedback and finalize the report.
  • Submit financial documents each month after completion of month-wise assignments.

QUALIFICATION

  • Medical graduate with Master degrees- Preferred in, Public Health /Social Sciences and development Studies
