Noora Health’s mission is to improve outcomes and save lives of patients by empowering family caregivers with the skills they need to care for their loved ones.

Noora turns hospital hallways and waiting rooms into classrooms by tapping into the most compassionate resources available for the patient’s care - the patient’s own family - turning these worried family members into skilled caregivers. The Care Companion Program (CCP) is currently implemented at more than 150 government hospitals across India and Bangladesh and over 1,000,000 patients and family members have been trained by the CCP. Research on the program has found improved health behavior uptake, decrease in post-surgical complication rates, and decrease in newborn complications/readmissions. Noora’s COVID-19 response has reached more than 15 million people.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We seek someone who will oversee and lead research, monitoring and evaluation activities in Bangladesh that contribute to generating evidence of the impact of our programs

  • We seek someone who will oversee and lead research, monitoring and evaluation activities in Bangladesh that contribute to generating evidence of the impact of our programs
  • Support in program monitoring activities, including but not limited to- developing monitoring frameworks, tracking metrics, and develop quality assurance processes around data collection and analysis
  • Manage team of data collectors, overseeing their work and professional development
  • Conduct literature reviews on relevant health topics as it relates to current or upcoming research projects
  • Contribute to research proposal development and writing
  • Partner with the rest of the functional teams including design, implementation, medical, research, and partnerships in both India and Bangladesh

EXPECTATIONS:

  • Public Health Degree (masters or a PhD; PhD preferable)
  • Experience of at least 5-7 years in roles which includes leading monitoring and/or evaluation in public health
  • Strong work experience with quantitative and qualitative data analysis within the health sector
  • This role is aimed at professionals who are strongly motivated to solve important global health challenges and are dedicated to the social and development sector and health equity
  • Excellent documentation and report writing skills in English
  • Proficiency in Bangla and English
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to work seamlessly as part of a diverse team including designers, analysts, and educators from Bangladesh, India and overseas
