Know our team
Nutrition International’s Operations unit is a dedicated team of program implementation experts who are responsible for contributing to the overall management of NI’s field operations in Asia and Africa. Under the supervision of the Country Director, Bangladesh this position will be responsible for gender-sensitive technical support for NI’s programs including AMAN project in Bangladesh by supporting gender analyses and action planning, training and capacity building for staff and local partners, identifying and assisting in monitoring gender equality outcomes and indicators
About you
You are someone with a postgraduate level degree, masters/doctorate, from a recognized university in nutrition or public health (with emphasis on nutrition). Other relevant disciplines will be considered with significant relevant experience. You have at least 7 years of experience in programs relating to adolescent health and nutrition, and/or maternal health and nutrition, and/or sexual reproductive health and nutrition with gender-responsive in program design and implementation. You have excellent communication skills and experience
About the role
In this role you will:
- Support NI’s gender mainstreaming approach for NI’s programs including AMAN project.
- Support in quality assurance of project documentation related to gender equality
- Support in knowledge management and best practice dissemination.
- Support in program compliance and management.
