Know our team

Nutrition International’s Operations unit is a dedicated team of program implementation experts who are responsible for contributing to the overall management of NI’s field operations in Asia and Africa. This position will report to Country Director, Bangladesh, and will be responsible for effectively managing and guiding AMAN project-related three intervention areas – Health Systems, Multisectoral Nutrition, and Social Safety Net components.

About you

You have a Master’s degree in Nutrition, Public Health, Medicine, Health System Management, Social Sciences, International Development and/or a related field and a minimum of 8 years of work experience with NGOs, and/or UN agencies working with public health, and/or nutrition-related programs. You are an excellent communicator and are able to collaborate across units and geographies successfully.

You are a mid-level public health professional and nutrition expert with extensive experience in program management or have held such roles in the past and have experience in working with adolescent and women’s health and nutrition multisectoral approach in managing and implementing multiple projects to ensure high quality programming in Bangladesh.

About the role

In this role you will:

  • Support the design, planning, implementation, and monitoring of Aman project.
  • Support the timely and smooth start-up of the project.
  • Support the preparation of program approval documentation, including grant agreements, contracts, project extensions, project completion reports.
  • Support in streamlining the supply chain.
  • Support program financial management and reporting; ensure accurate forecasting and budget planning.
  • Support in liaising and advocacy
  • Monitor program budget expenditures and variances, by contract, and alert program staff as required.
