Job Responsibilities

The Head of School/Section is responsible for the effective general management of the School, for ensuring the provision of academic leadership and strategic vision and for the quality of the student experience.

The responsibilities of the Head of School/Section include:

• Having overall responsibility for the management of the School's programs of teaching and research and the implementation of the School's academic policy.
• All academic responsibilities related to student’s exam, parents dealing and other duties as required.
• Developing a strategic plan for the School, in consultation with the School Executive/Teachers, including the preparation of a staffing and resource plan.
• Engaging the staff & teachers of the School in devising and agreeing the School's plan.
• Allocating duties to staff/Teachers within the School and the management of staff in accordance with School’s policies and procedures.
• Ensuring the effective delivery of high quality teaching and the maintenance of academic standards.
• Ensuring the regular review, evaluation and development of programs offered by the School.
• Implementing decisions of Directors and the supply of information in accordance with Board and/or Council directions.
• Prepare an annual report in agreement with the School’s Executive Committee and for consideration by the School Committee.
• Other duties as may be assigned by the Directors.

Employment Status: Full-time

Educational Qualifications

• Master Degree in any discipline from reported University. (Preferable in English)

• Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
• Experience of relevant position will be considered as an additional advantage
