NETZ Partnership for Development and Justice (short: NETZ) is a non-governmental organisation which promotes human rights and justice in Bangladesh with a focus on the most vulnerable and marginalised people to create an enabling environment in the society for demanding good governance, a non-discriminatory society and social justice.

In partnership with WE CAN and DASCOH Foundation, NETZ have been implementing a project titled “Strengthened Civil Society Protects and Promotes Women’s Rights” (EIDHR/2017/397-087) co-financed by European Union since January 2018 at 8 sub-districts under 4 districts. The overall objective of the project is that civil society, democracy activists and Human Rights Defenders (HRDs) proactively enhance the protection and promotion of human rights and further democratisation in Bangladesh. HRDs, youth, CSOs and CS alliances are strengthened in their active role to promote human rights and democratisation through a combination of awareness raising, capacity building, facilitation of democratic dialogue and accountability process as well as research and policy advocacy.

As a part of this project, a video documentary is to be produced to document the interventions of the project which will help to raise the public awareness about the HRD’s initiatives to establish the women’s rights and to stop the discrimination against women. Through this video documentary will be captured the key results, success and challenges, best practice and lesson learnt from the project as well as future programme direction.

To document the above mentioned initiatives, a consultant will be hired to produce a video documentary.
