General Manager (Accounts)

Job Context

  • The main purpose of the position: Effective cost control, risk of financial management and organization of planning.

Job Responsibilities

  • Formulation and implementation of applicable accounting policies and processes including accounting of transactions in the general ledger.
  • Supervise and lead the accounts and finance department.
  • Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Builds and manages monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.
  • Oversees and reviews accounting tasks, including payroll, taxes, and compliance.
  • Present financial issues to the Management for review and decision.
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities within the scope
  • Preparation of the quarterly and yearly budget of the company, variance analysis and actual cash flow reporting on monthly basis.
  • Managing the corporate tax and VAT affairs of the company
  • Monitoring Internal Audit & Controlling.

Educational Requirements

  • Master in Finance
  • Professional Educational requirements
  • Qualified or Partly qualified CMA / CA.
  • Skills Required: MS Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint/ OneNote

Experience Requirements

  • At least 15-20 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Finance/ Accounts
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):

Group of Companies, Contracting/Engineering Firms, Real Estate,

Additional Requirements

  • Age at least 45 years
  • Proven working experience (10 years) in a similar role.
  • In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping.
  • Hands-on experience with budgeting, risk and treasury management.
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models.
  • Solid analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • Leadership abilities.
