Position (Designation): Manager

Department: Commercial & Industrial Sales

Purpose of the Role: To develop or establish sales strategies and business insight to improve and provide best support to customers while ensuring organizational benefit along with supporting or motivating whole sales team in order to make them effective and efficient.

Key Deliverables of the Role

  • Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets through existing and targeted Customers/ OEMs/ Power Plants/ Key Account/ Channel Associates/ Consultants/ Indirect Exporters/ Corporates.
  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer/ corporate base.
  • Understand client requirements, coordinate with various operating groups and develop a competitive proposal.
  • Ensure market coverage across geographies & industrial segments to analyze key market trends.
  • Mapping the market and keeping track of the competitors.
  • Engage in techno - commercial discussions with clients, consultants for business development in respective region to ensure clear order in system.
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
  • Lead and nourish sales team to be effective and efficient in simple and supportive way.
  • Linked up and maintain strong relationship with Mother Company.

Qualification and Experience

  • B.Sc/M.Sc in Chemical Enineering or Petroleum Engineering (MBA will give addtition advantage).
  • Minimum 6 years of related experience with progressive management experience. (Relevant industry experience is a plus).

Additional/Important Job Requirements

  • Hands on experience in Capital Goods Sales preferably in Heavy Engineering Industry.
  • Knowledge of basic engineering equipment and processes.
  • Good presentation & analytical skills.
  • Effective and strong communication skills in both Bengali and English.
  • Clear & strong orientation towards results, targets and deadlines.
  • Excellent motivational and leadership skills to inspire performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and challenging environment.
  • Sharp commercial acumen and high technical uptake.
  • Willing to travel extensively to achieve set targets.
