Nari Maitree (NM) is a women-led, non-governmental organization started its journey in 1983 and since then it has completed a journey of 43 years with an experience of working in various sectors like Health and nutrition, adolescent and youth, Gender equality and equity , Women, empowerment, Child rights, livelihood, Education, water and sanitation, Humanitarian response, Climate change and food security.
Programme Background:
Nari Maitree has been working in the urban context for many years with the most vulnerable and marginalized groups to improve their economic and social status by addressing the underlying issues/causes of extreme poverty. Currently, Nari Maitree is going to implement a five years’ long (2023 to 2027) livelihood graduation programme in the Dhaka South City Corporation titled: “ Urban Green Graduation Programme”. The programme's overall goal is to Urban Extreme Poor households can sustainably meet their basic needs and have improved coping strategies through strengthened livelihoods which place value on the natural environment. This programme will be implemented with technical and financial support from Concern Worldwide and Irish Aid. Nari Maitree is inviting applications from qualified and committed development professional.

Contract for : 10 days
Note: 7 days for data Collection. 2,000 taka Daily (Food, communication, conveyance all-inclusive); 3 days for Training (During Training 1,000 taka for conveyance allowance; food and others included in training)
Major Responsibilities:
- Enumerators will collect Midline Evaluation data from the households of Cohort 2 beneficiaries.
- Engage with respondents in person to gather necessary information.
- Assist individuals in completing forms accurately and ensure all questions are understood.
- Document responses precisely, utilizing digital data entry tools or paper forms as required.
- Pay close attention to respondent answers to ensure the quality and reliability of the collected information.
- Verify information with fellow enumerators or review completed questionnaires to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Secure consent from individuals or households before beginning data collection.
- Respondents will ask questions and record answers using smartphones/tablet
- Keep a supervisor informed about work progress and any challenges encountered during data collection.
- Maintain good communication with respondents and team members to ensure a smooth data collection process.
- Operate mobile applications or other software for data input and management.
- Enter and manage collected data accurately, often using digital platforms-DDG app
- Daily Review and sharing Troubleshooting
- Will check out every day for appropriateness of data submission
Educational qualifications :
Minimum Bachelor Degree in any discipline from any govt. approved University.
Additional Requirements:
- A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in field level data-collection.
- The ideal candidate should have good understanding skills both in English & Bangla.
- Technical knowledge on Online data collection, Tab and app using
- Easy engagement and working phenomena with ultra-poor and diverse communities.
- Ability to work long hours, often in challenging and congested urban environments, and to walk/travel between households in the assigned areas.
- Prior experience in data collection, surveying, community mobilization and technical knowledge on Online data collection using Tablets and app
