Muslim Hands International, Bangladesh is registered with the Bureau of NGO Affairs working in different sectors i.e. education, WASH, health, livelihood, child protection, poverty alleviation and disaster relief program since 1995. Our donor Muslim Hands UK is an international relief and development NGO, established in 1993 working both directly and with partners in over forty countries, carrying out short and long-term projects in emergency relief, educational and vocational training, orphan sponsorship, medical care and safe water. 

Job Summary: The incumbent will support Program Coordinator in design and delivery of MHIBD interventions. Key responsibilities of Field Officer include but limited to:

  • Ensuring that program activities in field are implemented according to established program principles with adequate community participation.
  • Manage active support in field assessment and monitoring visits from the part of donor and other officials.
  • Ensures effective management of the medical camp, child friendly space and other field activities in liaison with the field staffs.
  • Participate CIC meetings and provide timely report to supervisor.
  • Maintain a good relation with CIC office and program related sectors.
  • Attend any training and capacity building sessions when provided.
  • Assess the needs and resources required for field activities, plan an appropriate integrated response.
  • Undertake small scale research in field as per program requirement.
  • Prepare field reports and documents on lessons learnt and success stories.
  • Use participatory approaches as a far as possible throughout the program cycle, in training, and in the use of toolkits and other materials.
  • Lead in camp recruitment and necessary preparation.
  • Assist in developing training plan and training materials for teacher development of Child Friendly Space.
  • Maintain implementation and reporting standards and overseeing the work at different level.
  • Manage all project resources, equipment and ensure working and maintained properly
  • Perform any other related duties or responsibilities that may be assigned by the project team

Qualification, Experience and Skills

  • Education: Must have at least master degree. Masters in social science/ Development Studies will be added advantage.
  •  Relevant Experience: Shall have at least 3 years working experiences in Rohingya camp Cox's Bazar.
  • Language:  Fluency in verbal and written English is mandatory.
  • Other Qualifications: Interpersonal relationship, working in team approach. Coping with work pressure and managing multi-tasks assignment as and when is necessary
