Position Summary
The coordinator – Training Academy will oversee the day-to-day operations and quality delivery of training programs, ensuring alignment with TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) and CBT&A (Competency-Based Training & Assessment) standards. This role will support curriculum development, trainer coordination, and trainee assessment while maintaining compliance with BTEB / NSDA guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and supervise all training activities across language, IT, trade-based, and etiquette courses.
- Coordinate curriculum development and training materials in line with TVET and CBT&A frameworks.
- Ensure effective scheduling and management of trainers, assessors, and support staff.
- Oversee trainee enrollment, orientation, attendance, and certification processes.
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with BTEB/NSDA accreditation and reporting requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with relevant industry bodies, employers, and certifying authorities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance training quality and learner outcomes.
- Prepare periodic reports on training activities, outcomes, and compliance status for management review.
- Promote a professional and supportive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of trainees.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Education, Education Management, HR Development, or a related field.
- Certification or formal training in CBT&A and TVET methodologies.
- 4–7 years of experience coordinating training programs in a TVET or skills development context.
- Demonstrated experience working with BTEB/NSDA -accredited programs is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of competency-based curriculum design, assessment standards, and adult learning principles.
