Job Description / Responsibility
Job Summary: This is a very crucial and important position which contributes to MSS`s growth and development by attracting and securing financial support from different humanitarian trusts & foundations, corporate sponsorships & partnerships, media partnerships, individual donors, and local business men. The position is responsible for developing, managing, and delivering sponsorship & fundraising strategies, and ensure a strong ongoing profile and presence for MSS on a local, national, and global level. The incumbent will be responsible for the smooth management & functioning of Fund Raising & Sponsorship of MSS.
Major Responsibilities:
- Planning, developing, managing, and implementation of integrated fundraising and sponsorship programs.
- Identify potential sponsors whose interests align with the organization’s activities.
- Develop fundraising plans and conduct different fundraising campaigns according to the plan.
- Making liaisons and maintaining correspondence with donor agencies.
- Attending different networking events, and conferences to identify potential sponsors and build relationships.
- Participating different meetings with sponsors/donors, and international visitors; and undertaking field visits with visitors.
- Develop and maintain sponsorship database and update it accordingly.
- Collect sponsorship/donation amounts and communicate with sponsors regularly through email, WhatsApp, and mailing.
- Ensure that all sponsor`s agreements comply with legal and ethical standards including any regulatory requirements or guidelines.
- Develop communications materials (one pager, sponsorship forms, appeal letter, thanks letter, child profile, etc.)
- Build and maintain partnerships and relationships with other relevant organizations, donors/sponsors, service providers, government agencies, and community organizations.
- Plan, organize, conduct, and coordinate all necessary seminars & workshops.
- Develop/updates child stories and share them with sponsors periodically.
- Contribute to proposal writing, donor reporting, and managing the internal system.
- Draft concept papers, EOI, organizational profiles, brochures, editing newsletters, etc.
- Prepare event reports, and contribute to the organization`s different publications and documentation.
- Prepare budgets for different projects and oversee the expenditures.
- Expand the organization`s image by circulating the activities of different projects and programs.
- Prepare different Power Point presentations based on reports and present them to the senior management of the organization to keep them informed about ongoing activities and program development.
- Generate weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly reports as per the requirement of the management.
- Record keeping and proper documentation.
- Any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Educational Requirements
- Master`s Degree in any discipline from a reputed university with good academic records (no 3rd class/division will be allowed).
- Any professional degree/course in relevant field will get added advantage.

Additional Requirements
- Age at most 35 years
- Both males and females are allowed to apply
- At least 2 years of experience in Sponsorship management.
- Candidates not having direct working experience in Sponsorship management, need not apply.
- Knowledge on Bangladesh`s geographic, socioeconomic, and political context, etc.
- Excellent skills in report writing and presentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills both in Bengali and English.
- Planning, Analytical, Problem-solving and Decision-making skills.
- Coordination, Advocacy, Networking and effective Communication skills.
- Sound knowledge on the Microsoft Office Package.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage workload effectively to meet the deadline.
Salary
- Tk. 25000 - 35000 (Monthly)
