Job Context

Manabik Shahajya Sangstha (MSS) is lookingfor an experienced and competent person “to raise funds and mobilize resources to strengthen the on-going development projects of MSS and further expand program activities.”

The person will betaking lead for fund raising, resource mobilization and donor acquisition including initiating and developing project and funding proposals specially in the field of Health, Education and Vocational Education and Skill Training.

Key Job Responsibilities:

The incumbent will be responsible for:

  • Fundraising and Donor acquisition.
  • Developing and writing Project Concept Papers in line with the goals and mission of the organization.
  • Developing and writing Project Proposals and Funding Proposals.
  • Makingplans to secure restricted/ unrestricted funds from various donors which includes international donors, local corporate companies, Foundations and Trusts.
  • Developing Strategic Plan for Fund Raising & Resource Mobilization of the organization.
  • Maintaining liaison and good relationship with donors, contributors, funding agencies to maximize inflow of funds.
  • Keeping coordination and active liaison with Government bodies and Regularity agencies
  • Managing Grants/ Funds complying with the donor requirements including financial and narrative reporting to donors.
  • Administering and managing donor-funded projects.

Educational Requirements

Masters in Development Studies/ International Relations/ Social Science/ English or other relevant subject with good academic record from any reputed university.

Experience Requirements

  • At least 8 years of practical experience in the relevant field in which at least 02 years in the similar position/ role in any reputed National/ International NGO/ Developments Agencies.
  • Experienced in the following businessareas: National NGO, International NGO, Development Agency
  • Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply

Age: 45 years (maximum)

Employment Status: Full-time

Job Location: Dhaka (with field visit)

Salary: BDT: 85,000 - 1,00,000 per month (Based on qualifications and experience of the candidate)

Manabik Shahajya Sangstha (MSS), a national level non-government organization started its mission to stand by the distressed people with humanitarian aid when the country was hit by a massive flood in 1974. Having an organizational shape in 1977, MSS redirected its focus to poverty alleviation and empowerment of the poor especially the urban and rural women of Bangladesh.
