About The Role:

The Regulatory and Compliance Assistant works as part of the Global Supply Chain function, assuring the availability of quality products at the correct price in an efficient and effective way. This position will collaborate with national programs to find relevant product innovations and tactics for Social Marketing, as well as to ensure that other eligible complementary items for the Social Marketing product portfolio are found, qualified, and registered. While the reporting line is directly to the Regulatory and Compliance Manager, there is expected to be a significant amount of work associated with our Social Marketing department where time management will be a critical aspect of the role and the correct GDP management of medicinal products and healthcare products requires carefully sourced staff. Individual duties must be clearly known and met with a continuing commitment to GDP ideals.

To perform this role, it is essential that you have the following experience

  •  2+ years operational experience within Supply Chain environments (From a range of therapeutical areas – reproductive health is highly desirable)
  • Good understanding of procurement processes in an international environment (preferably with experience in both Africa and Asia)

Desirable

  • Commercial or Not for Profit Supply Chain experience.
  • Experience within the Public and/or Private Health Sector
  • Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing sector.
  • Experience within the regulatory environments of import/export business.

Education/Qualifications required for this role are:

  • Pharmaceutical degree (highly desirable).
  • Regulatory training and trained in Good Distribution/Manufacturing Practice (highly desirable).
  • A degree in a health or medical field, or equivalent experience (desirable).
  • Trained or experienced in project management (desirable).
  • Proficiency in English (essential) and French (highly desirable).
