Manusher Jonno Foundation (an initiative supporting human rights and governance initiatives) invites applications from Bangladeshi nationals for the following position.

1. Project Officer for NLASO (National Legal Aid Services Organization) project - One position

Duties: Project Officer-NLASO is responsible to:

• Assist to implement all planned activates at Supreme Court Legal Aid office;
  
• Assist to develop awareness materials as per project design.
  
• To ensure Secretarial support to NLASO, maintain file and to prepare periodic and event report;
  
• Assist to arrange meeting for supreme court panel Lawyer and bench officer
  
• Assist Supreme Court Coordinator to prepare monthly report;
  
• Assist to arrange seminar, workshop, meeting etc. focusing legal aid services
  
• Work in a sensitive and respectful manner with Legal Aid Clients;
  
• Any other work as and when require

Qualification and Experience: -Masters in any discipline - Minimum three years working experience in legal aid providing NGO or in the field of court procedure and administration. Clear understanding in judicial system of Bangladesh and legal aid services is required for the
position.

Remuneration: The above mentioned positions are fixed term contract, initially for one year, extendable based on satisfactory performance and availability of donor fund. Monthly consolidated salary is Tk. 25,600.
