Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) is a non-government organization, working for Human Rights and Good Governance invites applications from Bangladeshi nationals for the position of Manager-Grants Control for “Partnership for Resilient Livelihoods in CHT Region project (PRLC)”.

Working Conditions: The position is based in Rangamati, travel is required to the other two project locations in Bandarban and Khagrachari.

Manager -Grants Control, Post: 01

Responsibilities:

Manager - Grants Control is overall responsible for the grants management which includes financial monitoring, budget preparation, review and negotiation, financial capacity building and risk identification/mitigation of partner organizations. Manager Grants Control also has major role for financial assessment of applicant organizations.

 He/ she will report to Director F & A for discharging the donors’ and organization’s policy compliance and reports including audit of PNGOs and will also supervise and guide the Deputy Manager-Grants.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Having master’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Chartered Accountancy /ICMA /ACCA   partly qualified /MBA (Major in Finance and Accounts) will be an added advantage;
  • Highly experienced in different donors requirements and compliances
  • Minimum 12 years working experience in the grants management area especially in the development organizations of which at least 5 years in managerial position.
  • PNGOs financial monitoring, budgeting, reporting and grants management experience is essential. Experienced in training and facilitation skills would be an asset.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively to the project areas all-through CHT areas.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain strict deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, with excellent written and spoken English and Bangla and also computer skill on MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, data base and accounting packages  and ready to work in a team.
