Job Responsibilities
- Managing overall Office/factory administration and support to other functional units
- Follow up overall recruitment, attendance, & Salary Management
- Dealing Labor functions strongly and reporting to the management
- Communicate policies and procedures to employees at all levels
- Conversant with labor laws & regulations and ensure implementation
- To create a safe and comfortable working environment for employees and visitors.
- Handle any unexpected situation/incident due to internal or external factors
- To maintain the Security Operations Manual up to date for use by all on site security personnel to cover duties, individual
- Instructions for each post; attendance; use of security equipment; dress standard; training etc.
- Ensure factory safety and security with utmost professionalism
- Any other assignments given by the management
Employment Status: Full-time
Educational Requirements:
- Masters in HRM from a reputed university.
- PGD in HRM will get preferences
- Skills Required: Administration, Factory HR Administration, Human Resource Management, Labor Law, Performance appraisal, Recruitment & Selection.
Experience Requirements
- At least 10 year(s) in textile industry
- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Factory HR Administration, Legal Compliance/ Code of Conduct.
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Textile
Additional Requirements
- Detailed knowledge about social and technical compliance requirements of garments manufacturing units.
- Some idea about other compliance certifications in practice around the world.
- Should have sound knowledge on Labor Law, Factories Act, Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting Laws, Minimum Wages as per Gazette published from time to time in Garments & Textile sector in Bangladesh.
- To prepare factory for facing different Audit such as Accord, Alliance, BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, OCS, GOTS, FSC, OEKO-TEX, C-TPAT, ISO, HIGG & SR H7M of Social / Ethical / Environmental / Technical / Supply Chain Security (SCS) / QMS audit.
- Responsible for entire Recruitment, Selection, Placement, Compensation/Benefits, Legal Compliance/Code of Conduct, HR Administration, Fire, Health & Safety etc.
- Understand the importance of building a strong and progressive culture to create a dynamic work environment;
- To draw Action Plan & implement the same in line with the vision of the Company / Direction of the top Management to manage growth of the Organization;
- To fill out various kinds of compliance forms and documents provided by buyers and other compliance monitoring agencies
- Good written and oral communication skills in both English and Bangla
- Ability to quickly identify faults and compliance lapses on visual examination of factory premises.
