METAL, a leading agribusiness company in the country involved in Agri-mechanization, Seed research, development, and marketing, has a stake in manufacturing, automotive & heavy construction equipment business, power, and other support services to mobile network operators, diesel generating equipment, and leisure and tourism businesses. As a part of the METAL, the Powertech division currently, acts as Telecom Service Provider for ensuring power and other maintenance support of a major share of BTS of mobile operators like-Grameenphone (in major Divisional areas of Bangladesh), Banglalink, and Robi. Metal is currently looking for suitable candidate (s) for the following position:

Manager/ Sr. Manager (HR- Telecom)

Job Description/ Responsibilities:

HR Planning & Strategically Governance: *Prepare yearly Functional Plan, Manpower Planning in accordance with regional guidelines. Effectively manage the HR Budget and contribution to the company business planning cycle. Strategically decision generate, review & implement.

Recruitment & Selection: Coordinate, Recruitment & Selection, Employment letter issue Documentation for final selection, Keeping CV Bank updated for future reference. Arrange an Orientation program for new recruits, and Preparing Job Descriptions.

Training & Development: Develop Training Master Plan, Prepare training & tracking budget, Liaison with different organizations for training, Organize in-house & external training, Collect training evaluation feedback, and Keep a record of training.

HR Policy and Procedures: Review and update HR Policy as per business plan. Prepare SOP when required.

Attendance, Payroll & Leave Management: Follow Attendance Reports, Maintaining Leave records of Employees, Tracking of Absenteeism Rate, Payroll Management.

Personnel Records: Managing personal files, Maintaining Employee database.

Employee Relations & Grievance Handling: Counsel and handle grievances when needed. Conduct Yearly Employee Satisfaction Surveys, Conduct Exit Interviews.

Compensation and Benefits: Plan and implement recognition and incentive programs. Reviewing annual salary processes. Ensure packages are competitive in the market.

HR Reporting: Generate monthly HR Functional Reports & analysis. This includes- Headcount, Absenteeism Ratio, Employee Turnover, Overtime Rate - Own Personnel, and Retention Rate after 12 Months, Conduct all types of audits/visits and coordinate with the concerned department to find out non-compliance issues and take corrective and keep documents properly. Prepare monthly HR Management presentations.

Educational Requirements:

BBA/MBA/ B.sc (Engr.)/ Honors Graduate from a public university or 1st level rated private university with a preference for HRM (Major), HRM Diploma, Telecom HR experienced personnel.

Experience Requirements:

At least 10 years with 5 years in an HR managerial position with a reputed organization in the MNCs/ Corporate sector. High Preference from Telecom Operator, Telecom Equipment vendors, and Telecom Service provider companies.

Expertise:

  • 1st level knowledge and hands-on work experience in Technical resource sourcing, selection, compensation plan, and retention process.
  • KPI & SLA and IT system-based work experience.
  • Employee’s Performance evaluation, Life-cycle management.
  • Well-conversant with Labor Law compliance and Grievance handling.
  • Occupational Health Safety, Security & Environment protocol management

Age Limit Year (s): Minimum 40 years
