Position: Senior Executive, Cost & Budget (Factory)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Inventory & Fixed Assets Management

  • Plan and conduct monthly stock count and investigate variances against the system balance.
  • Prepare monthly report on purchase issue, and stock-on hand of raw materials, WIP, and other stocks.
  • Prepare stock variance report supported with physical inventory count and system generated report.
  • Monitor and ensure that all slow moving and non-moving inventories are identified at all location and implement action plan.
  • Prepare list and tag of all fixed assets.
  • Track and assess the condition of fixed assets and perform proper valuation.
  • Monitor the movement of new/used fixed assets within the SBU / Group.
  • Perform activities related to asset disposal with cooperation of accounts & admin team.
  • Report any issue or damages and breakdowns within working areas and ensure defect free facilities and services are provided.

2. Cost Management

  • Prepare monthly Cost of Goods Manufactured statement and ensure costs are within budget.
  • Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
  • Implement standard and/or activity based costing.
  • Make estimates of new & proposed product costs and finalize costing by consulting with management.
  • Perform costing for special order batches with huge quantities and analyze variances.
  • Conduct analysis and submit report on procurement rates to management from time to time.
  • Provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
  • Prepare production efficiency report on monthly basis.
  • Monitor the system loss for production and wastage of production in all outlets.
  • Perform Cost & Benefit analysis for special projects/plans.
  • Prepare cost reduction plan in case of exceeding budget.

3. Budget & Budgetary Control

  • Prepare operational & company budget, budgeted profit & loss account, and analyze budget variances.
  • Implement budgetary control and monitoring.
  • Prepare forecasted cash flows and actual cash flow report when needed.
  • Analyze different project proposals, prepare and review budgets for different projects of different programs by sitting with respective personnel and give recommendation for finalization, on need basis.
  • Prepare financial projections and deliver to provide insight, financial recommendations to both short-term and long-term growth plan of the company.

4. Accounts & Others

  • Check & verify the comparative statements and report any exception to management.
  • Check, verify, and approve raw materials requisition from store to production floor.
  • Examine and analyze accounting records, financial statement or other financial reports.
  • Suggest and assist in the implementation and adherence of accounting practices, policies, and procedures that support efficiencies.

5. Audit & Compliance

  • Conduct audit in accounts & finance department to check whether everything is operating as per SOP.
  • Conduct audit in store, QC, production, and delivery departments to check whether everything is operating as per SOP.

Educational Requirements and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting from a reputed university.
  • Degree in Cost Management Accounting (CMA) is preferable.
  • 2-3 years of experience in relevant field.
  • Ability to work seamlessly in a team-based environment.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, desire to deliver results.

Skills & Additional Requirements

  • Age 30 to 40 years.
  • Excellent working proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to do multitasks.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations.

Employment Status: Permanent.
