Position: Key Account Manager, Corporate Sales & Modern Trade

Job Context: The Key Account Manager will report to the Chief Operating Officer of the organization. In general, the incumbent will be responsible to monitor market trends, set plan to achieve sales targets, perform market research to ensure sales that are relevant and assist in the development of new sales strategies to increase sales. He will maintain and expand relationships with important clients and will work closely with various business departments in order to maintain and further develop the relationships with the key accounts. The Key Account Manager is responsible for the achievement of sales quota and is assigned key objectives/metrics relevant to key accounts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Increase sales for channels and reach sales target in every month.
  • Identifying opportunities to increase sales through existing products or services by researching new markets for existing products or identifying new product opportunities.
  • Communicating with company executives about sales goals and progress towards those goals with data.
  • Developing and implementing marketing plans that include advertising campaigns, public relations efforts, and events to promote products or services with the clients.
  • Maintaining relationships with existing customers by providing them with information about new products or services that may interest them.
  • Reviewing sales reports to determine if any changes need to be made to the sales process
  • Estimating potential sales volume based on the cost of the product or service and the target market’s ability to pay for it.
  • Coordinating with other departments within the organization to ensure that each step of the sales process runs smoothly

Educational Requirements: Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing. Master of Business Administration (MBA) is preferable in Marketing.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of proven experience in Corporate Sales and Modern Trade.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Proven track record and sales closure in Corporate Sales and Modern Trade
  • Sense of authority and confidence to achieve results in the negotiation process
  • Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel.
  • Good relationship with Banks, Pharmaceuticals, Insurance Company is highly preferable.
