Position: Sr. Executive/ Asst. Manager, Quality Control

Job Context:

The employee will report to Head of Operation of the organization. In general, the incumbent will be responsible to ensure the proper and adequate production of top-quality sweet & others products as designated and specified by company. He needs to check the quality of incoming and outgoing materials or products for a company, as well as the production procedures. This job involves tasks such as consecutively tests products, keeping a record of defects, analyzing products, and overseeing procedures. The incumbent will also maintain highest professional standard of cleanliness as top priority. Also, needs to ensure fresh ingredients and supplies that properly stored and available when production starts daily.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the proper and adequate production of top-quality sweet & other products as designated and specified by organization.
  • Keep a close eye on facility, transportation and delivery operations and ensure that highest professional standards of performance are maintained throughout the entire operational process.
  • Keep a close eye on kitchen and facility at highest professional standards cleanliness as a top priority. Equipment and dishes must be thoroughly sanitized and precautions taken at all levels to prevent food-borne illness.
  • Ensure and supervise the cleanliness of employees, equipment and tools as well as the transportation of products to clients whether on the premise or to retail locations.
  • Ensure that fresh ingredients and supplies are properly stored and available when production starts daily.
  • Ensure adequate training and supervision of employees in the facility. On-the-job training starts with familiarizing new employees with workplace policies, safety procedures, personal hygiene expectations, cleaning requirements, proper dress and customer relations. Top-quality of the product in all its aspects is the ultimate goal of employees. He must teach, train and supervise employees to ensure that proper procedures are being followed to consistently produce and sell a top-quality product.
  • Continuously monitor staff performance and staff logs and reward employees for top quality and professional performance, honesty, integrity, efficiency, and friendliness.
  • Resolve workplace problems, including tardiness and absenteeism.
  • Assist in planning and promoting media campaigns on the internet, billboards and elsewhere to help a business get off the ground or expand.
  • Initiate, promote and maintain proper and continuous relations with clients at retail outlets, therefore, ensuring adequate and continuous follow-up, excellent rapport and customer satisfaction.
  • Positively respond to and, with utmost capacity and effort, satisfactorily address any complaints that might arise from customers and clients.
  • Keep accurate bookkeeping of the business conducive to accurate and proper accounting as required by ownership.
  • Play an essential and active role in the expansion of the business, whether within the facility or in other facilities in other cities.
  • Assist in resolving emergencies, such as a facility, quality or customer problem that might escalate for handling.
  • Ensure workplace and employee safety.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in any discipline. Master of Business Administration (MBA) will get preference.
  • Graduation on Food & Nutrition’s will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 4-5 years of proven experience in QC Department. 
  • In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work seamlessly in a team-based environment
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, desire to deliver results
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally.
