Senior Business Development Officer

Medisquare Smart Health Ltd is a health tech startup working on creating a one-stop healthcare support solution platform.

Job Context

We are looking for a full-time senior business development officer who will organize and execute our startup's business and marketing strategies and help the team scale our growth.

Job Responsibilities

  • Implement monthly and weekly marketing and sales plans.
  • Develop a growth strategy in sales and marketing focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct research to identify new customers' (Cook & Diner) needs.
  • Plan the creation of content and create content using Illustrator and Photoshop. We accept some informal creations in Canva too. But Illustrator expertise is a plus.
  • Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting customers' objectives.
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
  • Plan and execute marketing and sales campaigns.
  • Gather market intelligence by developing an effective network, data, sources, and reports.
  • To ensure market survey, market analysis, information preparation for a new market, searching market for expansion to expedite sales, and provide feedback for preparing the new product line/s to the production team.
  • To establish business relations among stakeholders, different related organizations, Government and Non-Government organizations as per company policy.
  • Prepare marketing plan, yearly sales budget, and profit & loss statement for assigned products.
  • Organize product registration, licensing & all other related activities as per requirements.
  • Prepare standard business performance reports for both internal and external purposes.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers and vendors.
  • Develop entry-level staff into valuable marketeers.
  • Other tasks as needed.

Educational Requirements

  • Candidates should have a minimum Bachelor's in business from a reputable university.
  • Sound knowledge in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint presentation, graphics design and illustrator.
  • Proven work experience as a business development or sales manager/executive is required.
  • Skills Required: Adobe Photoshop/ Illustrator, Customer Needs and Challenge, Networking and Communications Skills, Persuasion, Professionalism; Hardworking; Problem solving skills., Prospecting, Research Design/ Analysis; Presentation

Experience Requirements

  • At least 3 year(s)

Additional Requirements

  • Proficiency in English and Bangla.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and reporting skills.
  • Proactive, requiring minimal supervision, and is highly motivated to exceed expectations.
  • Time management and planning skills.
