Education Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil/EEE/CSE, Master of Science (MSc) in Civil/EEE/CSE or MBA
  • Professional certification in procurement or tender management is a plus

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in tender business
  • Proven track record of successfully securing tender business
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    • Govt. Tender, e-GP Tender, Civil Construction Tender preparation & Foreign/ Local Procurement.
  • Experience in LC process, Shipment handling and Inspection works.

Job Responsibilities

  • Must be expert in E-GP & Manual Tender, Preparation of Tender Documents, Tender Schedule, BOQ, Drawing, Technical Specifications & others official Tender related works etc.
  • Ability to analyze tender documents, market trends, and competitor activities to develop winning strategies.
  • Good network within various government procurement departments.
  • Should be able to evaluate the new business opportunities/tenders with an ability to deal with creation and closing.
  • Preparing, filling and completing all the operational steps for tender submission on a timely basis.
  • Should be able to write “Work Methodology” and create “Work Plan” for tender proposal.
  • Strong project management skills to coordinate project execution and ensure timely submissions.
  • Should have Good Communication skills including letter writing and drafting for replaying tender queries by the clients.
  • Maintaining a tracker of all the tenders.
  • Maintain proper on line and off line tender follow up.
  • Should have reasonable understanding on financial numbers to analyze pricing comparisons in particular.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements i.e.- PPR related to tendering and procurement processes.
  • Understanding of pricing strategies, cost analysis, and financial modeling.
  • In depth knowledge about BG/ PG margins, VAT, AIT, SD etc.
  • Ability to negotiate favorable terms and conditions with clients and partners.
  • Weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting of all relevant matters to the management as required.

Additional Requirements

  • The candidate should be proficient in MS-Office, MS-Project, Auto CAD and other design and project management related software
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Age requirement minimum 35 years
  • Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills (Bangla and English)
  • Strong leadership skill
  • Strongly maintain a business communication network and relationship with all concerned departments/sectors.
  • Adaptable and able to work under pressure
  • High ethical standards and professionalism in all interactions.
  • All requirements to be carried out independently.
