General Manager (Finance & Accounts)

Job Vacancy: 2 (Two) Nos.

Education Requirements

  • Master of Commerce (M Com) in Accounting, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in accounting from a reputed university.

Experience Requirements:

  • At least 7 years.
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    • (i) Construction, (ii) Procurement and (iii) Supply Chain.

Job Responsibilities

  • Preparation and implementation of detailed work plan and methodology of Finance and Accounting.
  • To deal with Bank and arrange loan/ working capital/term loan for the project/company.
  • Monitoring company's Tax and VAT issues Interact with Internal & External auditors.
  • Liaising with banks to maintain banking facilities.
  • In charge of Budgeting, costing & entire MIS.
  • Working in coordination with various Govt. Authorities.
  • Approve and coordinate changes and improvements in automated financial and management information systems for the company.
  • Oversee the approval and processing of revenue, expenditure, and position control documents, department budgets, mass salary updates, ledger and account maintenance, and data entry.
  • Follow-up & coordinating day to day accounting records including Ledger/Party ledger book.
  • Follow-up & ensure monthly financial reporting, monthly inventory report, monthly cash reconciliation reports, trial balances, profit & loss accounts, and other books of accounts, posting of daily vouchers in to Cash Book & reconciliation etc.
  • Establish and implement short-and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures.
  • Must have capable to interact with inter departments to resolve issues and capable of handling the company's accounts affairs.
  • Follow-up and monitor of credit assessment and credit control.

Additional Requirements

  • The candidate should be proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, Tally and any other accounting software
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Age at most 40 years

  • Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills (Bangla and English)
  • Strong leadership skill
  • Excellent financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Must have experience in accounting-based software especially Tally/ ERP.
  • Adaptable and able to work under pressure
  • All requirements to be carried out independently.
