We are looking competent, smart, result oriented, self-motivated, energetic, honest & sincere person for our Shipping Agent and Project Logistics Department.

Qualification: Masters or MBA from any reputed University.

Experience: At least 10 -12-year(s) experienced person in Shipping, Project Logistic, C&F, Freight Forwarding, and Project Cargo Handling. Experience in Ship Chartering will be highly preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Commercial Proposal for Project Logistic & Cargo Handling (including C&F Cost, Port Cost, Lift on/ Lift off, Transport Cost, etc.).
• Dealing with Shipping Lines, MLO, Freight Forwarding (Sea & Air), Ocean Freight, Heavy Lift Vessel, Ship Chartering, Port Agency, Pilotage, etc.
• Must be knowledgeable about Heavy Lift, Haulage, Inland- Marine Transportation, Crane, SPMT, Module Trailer, Low Bed, Barge, Tug, Costal Vessel Operation, Project Cargo Handling, ODC Cargo Handling, etc.
• Responsible to execute, coordinate, monitor and manage export/ import works with Government officials, Stake Holders, Vendors & valuable clients.
• Communicate with foreign & local Customers, EPC Contractors and Logistic Companies.
• Ensure compliance with local and international maritime regulations in force and standards (SOLAS, MARPOL Convention, ISM Code, ISPS code, IMDG code...). Member of the company emergency team.
• Should have sound knowledge in assessable value & invoice value, Shipping Incoterms, Commercial, Banking, Customs and etc.
• Negotiating charter parties with charterers/operators/brokers
• Making charter party details available to operators if necessary
• Negotiations, preparation of fixture recaps and charter parties. Thorough knowledge of charter party clauses, terms, and their implications.
• Participate and negotiate of sea transport contract, shipping agency contract, handling terminal operator contract.
• In charge of chartering operations, clauses negotiations with shipbroker and ship owner, approving the charter party for the company.
• Sourcing of single trip and short period tonnage.
• Developing and maintaining client portfolio.
• Traveling to conferences and/or shipping events.
• Support the Chartering team in performance control and report.

Additional Requirement:

• Only males are allowed to apply
• Experience in Ship Chartering will be highly preferred.
• Working knowledge in English & Bengali.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
