Position: Head of Accounts and Finance Operations

Location: Dhaka, with field visits

Max Foundation Bangladesh is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead its finance and operations team. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing financial integrity, compliance, and operational excellence across all country office activities.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of finance, accounts, and operations in alignment with international standards and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, audits, and donor compliance.
• Ensure risk management, internal controls, and legal compliance.
• Contribute to strategic planning and organizational development.
• Strong Liaise with regulatory bodies including NGO Affairs Bureau and Income Tax Department.

🎯 Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• CA – at least knowledge level completed
• Minimum 10 years of experience, including 5 years in senior financial and operational leadership roles within INGOs and large NGOs only
• Strong knowledge of IAS, IFRS, Bangladeshi tax and labor laws.
• Proven experience in strategic financial planning, donor reporting, and audit management.
• Proficiency in financial software, MS Office, and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
