Design & Estimation Engineer (Steel)

Job Context   : We require sincere, hardworking and qualified “Design & Estimation Engineer Steel” who have more than five years practical knowledge in PEB Sector.

Job Description / Responsibility

• Prepare detailed design & estimates for different pre-fabricated steel structure building projects.
• Inviting quotations from Agency/vendors for materials and services and suggesting the management team about the most cost-effective option.
• Preparation of monthly reconciliation statement of building material.
• Material Reconciliation- To check theoretical consumption of steel, cement & other material supplied free of cost to the contractor and make recovery in case of excess Consumption & wastage.
• Analysis of rates of Non BOQ items.
• Determine cost estimate targets during the design and development process, recommending cost effective solutions.
• Investigate and identify cost reduction opportunities through design & cost analysis review.
• Review of Tender documents on receipt to ensure its completeness.
• Producing detail drawings, detailing structural systems, preparing engineering reports and calculations.
• Design and Detailing of Pipe Racks in Structural Steel.

Educational Requirements

• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from any Public University.

Experience Requirements

• At least 5-8 year(s) in the relevant field.

Job Requirements

• Age At least 25-35 year(s)
• Only males are allowed to apply.
• Should have the ability and affordability to work at factory level.
• Hardworking attitude & ability to work under pressure.
• Must be expert in design related software and also capable to hand calculation.
• Sound Knowledge on BNBC, ASCE, AISC, UBC, BS, ACI code.
• Should have vast knowledge about Steel structure design such as industrial building, wire house, Factory shade building, multi-storied steel building etc.
• The incumbents/applicants should have experience in the following areas: Engineering firms, steel building firms, steel structure production.
