Design Engineer-Civil

Job Context   : We require sincere, hardworking and qualified “Design Engineer-Civil” who have more than Ten years practical knowledge in relevant field.

Job Description / Responsibility

• Generating Structural Design Drawing/Erection Drawing/Model of any type of Civil Structure like Multi-storied buildings, Towers, Substations etc.
• Responsible for designing of all civil & Structural works and good knowledge of detailing RCC.
• Design and Detailing of Pipe Racks in RCC building.
• Producing detail drawings, detailing structural systems, preparing engineering reports and calculations.
• Pile and Road design (Carpeting/Ashphalt).
• In case of Structural design, considering Earthquake Resistance Design according to the Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC), American Standard (ACI), Uniform Building Code (UBC).
• Good understanding/knowledge of preparation of new concept and developing innovative design solutions including exterior and interior designs.
• Assist and coordinate with designers, site engineers and factories.

B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from any Public University.

Experience Requirements

• At least 10 year(s)

Job Requirements

• Age At least 30-40 year(s)
• Only males are allowed to apply.
• Expert in Auto CAD, other architectural applications and also capable to hand calculation.
• Hardworking attitude & ability to work under pressure.
• Sound Knowledge on BNBC, ASCE, AISC, UBC, BS, ACI code.
• Should have vast knowledge about design such as industrial building, wire house, Factory shade Building, multi-storied steel building etc.
• The incumbents/applicants should have experience in the following areas: Engineering firms, steel building firms, steel structure production.
