Billing Engineer (Steel+Civil)

Job Context: We require sincere, hardworking and qualified “Billing Engineer-Steel+Civil” who have more than five years practical knowledge in relevant field.

Job Description / Responsibility

• Checking all the details on Bill i.e. Invoice No., Bill Date, Name & Address of service provider, Name & Address of service receiver, PAN No. Service Tax Registration No. & category, VAT registration (if applicable), Break up of Service Tax on Bill , Value of Taxable Services, Amount of Taxes, Amount of Levies e.g. Octroi, Freight Or Transportation etc. , to stamp & signature of the authorized signatory of the vendor.
• Planning and billing of client according to levels and BOQ.
• Preparing bills for Govt. client, Private organization client and sub-contractors.
• Arithmetic & technical checking of all bills i.e. Civil, Carpentry, Aluminum Windows, Finishing, Interior bills, Infrastructure, Plumbing, Firefighting, Electrical work, consultants, & material invoices etc.
• Site Visits - Physical checking of bills at site.
• Preparing cash flow reports and BOQ (Bill of quantities) for the different project and reporting them to the higher authority.
• Verified the bills for correctness and accuracy.
• Review of bills of quantities and item lists.
• Coordinated inter-departmental billing operations and maintained a record of the same.
• Coordinate with site person for timely submission of all certified bill to Head Office for payment.
• Providing billing related information/documents to client as and when required.

Educational Requirements

• B.Sc. in Civil Engg. from any Public University.
• With extensive related experience diploma in Civil Engg. may also apply.

Experience Requirements

• At least 5-8 year(s) for B.Sc Engg.
• At least 10-12 year(s) for Diploma Engg.

Job Requirements

• Age At least 28-35 year(s).
• Only males are allowed to apply.
• Hardworking attitude & ability to work under pressure.
• Must be expert in design related software and also capable to hand calculation.
• Should have vast knowledge about billing of civil & steel design such as industrial building, wire house, factory shade building, multi-storied steel building, commercial Building etc.
• The incumbents/applicants should have experience in the following areas:Engineering firms, steel building firms, steel structure production.
