Office Administrator

Your tasks

Support the office with administration duties; procurement of office consumables; processing of quotations; Commercial activities etc.

Administrative Responsibility:

  • General administration work
  • Capturing of time and attendance hours, leave etc.
  • Arrange transports and collections of goods, parts, etc.
    Updating and maintaining of service activity list, material list, workshop history file, etc.
  • Booking and opening of new jobs
  • Purchase of goods, parts, materials, consumables, etc.
  • Cost control on active jobs
  • Registration of tenders and maintaining of workshop tender file
  • Coordination of logistic issues
  • Disposition of Spare Parts stock
  • Commercial/SCM activities

Business Responsibility:

  • Experience at a middle level within an administration Department
  • Employee Relations – disciplinary, absence management, redundancy, employment transfer
  • Managing an administration Team (drivers, office boys etc.), including Disciplinary, 3rd Party Service Level Agreements
  • Employee Relations – Up to date

Your qualification

  • Graduate or Equivalent. Business Management Degree
  • Diploma in SCM preferred
  • Previous direct managerial experience
  • Previous experience developing and managing financial budgets
  • Basic understanding of MAN equipment and businesses, both on technical and commercial levels
  • Entrepreneurial mindset combined with a high degree of business and commercial acumen leading to market and customer development and retention
  • Excellent skill set in areas such as leadership, marketing, sales, communication, contract negotiation, terms and conditions design, legal frameworks, and customer relationship management.
  • Ability to command respect from peers and communicate at all levels within company.
  • Strong network within the country business community.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • A strong process orientation and excellent initiative management skills.
  • Strong understanding of the global MAN organization and where to provide and receive information and advice.
  • Ability to manage and achieve positive outcomes in conflict situations.
