MAN Diesel & Turbo has a vacancy in Bangladesh in the Service department for the earliest start date

Tasks

The Service Engineer is responsible for installation, implementation and troubleshooting of field services, support on projects as per assigned work.

• Being able to carry out maintenance and repair of large bore 4-stroke diesel engines and turbocharger on power plants and marine installations
  
• Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with OEM standards
  
• Supervision of Workshop and Field Service activities
  
• On site trouble shooting and investigations
  
• Preparation of service and inspection reports.
  
• Assist with MAN product inquiries.
  
• Willing to work outside normal working hours.
  
• Travelling inside Bangladesh at short notice is part of the requirements for this position.
  

Qualifications

• Technician or graduate as a marine or mechanical engineer with long workshop shipyard experience (at least 6 years)
  
• Work experience on large bore HFO operated engine is mandatory
  
• OEM work experience is an advantage
  
• Fluent spoken English skills are desired.
  
• High customer orientation, able to build long-term relationships
  
• Highly committed towards organizational goals, self-motivated and team player
