Production Merchandiser
LPP SA, Bangladesh Liaison Office |
Responsibilities:
- Production follow up inspection and development of LPP quality standards in the Factories.
Educational Requirements:
- Minimum Graduate from any University
Experience:
- At least 03-05 years in Quality & Production Controller.
General Requirement:
- Candidates having professional degrees in Apparel Merchandising would be given preference
- Have knowledge about quality Inline and Final inspection.
- Having excellent product knowledge with the capacity to handle very demanding and renowned customers
- Have in-depth knowledge of knitting, dying, washing, sewing & finishing processes of Knit/Woven/Sweater Garments.
- Able to anticipate problems and provide constructive solutions.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
- Having excellent e-mail communication skills with MS Office operation.
- Experienced in LAB Testing & Relevant Field
- Must be dynamic, energetic, self-motivated, and self-organized with a positive attitude.
- Should have strong knowledge about (Fabric, Trims, Accessories, Print/Embroidery)
Major Responsibilities
- Perform production control.
- Inspection activities for initial, inline and final quality inspection.
- Perform factory evaluations and audits as assigned by Managers.
- Assist factories on how to improve production and quality problems in facilitating on time delivery of goods.
- Identify quality issues and analyze problems; recommend and implement preventive or corrective actions.
- Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes and inputting data into quality database.
- Good written and verbal communication, MS packages, and Basic Computer Skills.
- Preparing detailed inspection report
- Giving instruction to suppliers to improve/reach required quality level
- Training and updating suppliers with LPP standards
- Aware of Production difficulties to the suppliers
- Follow-up on Packing, on-time shipment, and update to buyers
- Other jobs assigned by manager and Polish team when needed.
