  Country Manager
LPP S.A., Bangladesh Liaison Office

Country Manager will be mainly responsible for:

  • Managing administrative tasks required for smooth operation of the Liaison Office in Bangladesh;
  • Employing people to Liaison Office on terms and conditions agreed with LPP
  • Building strong suppliers’ network in line with the Accord on Fire and Building Safety in Bangladesh guidelines;
  • Ensuring effective communication and cooperation between entities
  • Controlling all Liaison office departments on a daily basis;
  • Participating in quality controlling area;
  • Reporting on a regular basis to the headquarter in Poland;
  • Creating business reports, collecting statistics;
  • Ensuring that paperwork is properly completed.

Employment Status: Full-Time

Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum Graduate or Diploma from any Reputed University

Experience:

  • 10+ years' experience in textile and apparel sourcing with minimum 5+ years at similar supervisory level.

General Requirement:

  • Strong leadership attributes with extensive experience in global sourcing
  • Excellent business acumen
  • Ability to create and manage economies of scale
  • Strong vision on product profitability and executable life cycle
  • Strong garment engineering knowledge, preferably with product knowledge and development skills
  • Knowledge of industrial manufacturing techniques and practices
  • Manage vendor relationships with tight deadlines & challenging environments
  • Excellent communications skills, fluency in spoken/written English
  • Lead special projects as and when required.
  • Manage multiple direct reports and ensure quarterly and annual spend meets budget expectations for the managed brands/SBUs
  • Develops continuous improvement solutions and manages resources & implementations on-time and within budget parameters.
