Your tasks & responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor and control the process parameters of the plants and power generators for optimum productivity.
• Responsible for shift schedule to include workstation assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.
• Responsible for quality control. Adjust as necessary during shift to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications.
• Coordinate production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
• Responsible to meet shift production goals.
• Coordinate with Human Resources for appropriate staffing levels.
• Responsible for the analysis and evaluation of engine, manufacturing equipment, engine assembly lines and manufacturing processes, as well as providing cost reduction analyses, and improving manufacturing and assembly line processes regarding cost and efficiency
• Ensures preventive and routine maintenance and troubleshooting of plant and generator.
• Responsible for the electrical and mechanical maintenance off all plant and building services
• Process trouble shooting and remedial actions implemented.
• Improvement /modification of plant equipment, spares monitoring as needed time to time.
• Communication with vendors and suppliers.
• Schedule and conduct shift meetings.
• Activities to conform to Group Safety standards
• Carry out some other activities like a. Daily Shift production report; b. Staffs leave approval; c. Utility consumption monitoring; d. Supervision of contractors works; e. Performance appraisal of graded Staff; f. Train & coach production line employees; g. Training of graded staff on Safety/ IMS & IMSS.
• Ensure a clean and safe work area.

What you bring to us:

Experience & Education

• Graduate in any fields of Engineering  
• Must have 1-2 years of working experience in any production/manufacturing setup

• Effective diagnostic, questioning, listening & presentation skills
• Target oriented – able to translate the sector strategy into actionable plans and revenue
• Highly proficient in both written and spoken English and Bengali
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures in an interruptive environment.
• Ability to maintain mental concentration for significant periods of time.
• Willingness to work in rotational shift duties including night shift
