Purpose of the position
The purpose of the position is to maintain a harmonious employee relations climate concerning the Employees Union and the Management, ensuring all statutory compliances related to labour, contractors’ and third parties for outsourced operations, business licenses, company property and utility related documentation, managing the administrative support services and security of all Company locations.
Your tasks and responsibilities
- Engage to maintain harmonious Union-Management relationship at all Company locations
- Provide necessary inputs for formulating and implementing the employee relations strategy and policies
- Assess current trend of country and company IR environment and produce necessary reports for management decision
- Assist General Manager, HR in negotiating and implementing the Long-Term Agreement (LTA)
- Negotiate with the CBA and local committees of the union on various local issues to maintain congenial industrial relations throughout the company
- Provide routine administrative services to all the Departments and streamline the admin procedures in respect of transport, land, mobile phone, telephone, security, canteen, building maintenance, dispatch and reception
- Manage the disciplinary proceedings as per labour law and company policies
- Coordinate timely renewal of all Govt. Licenses and arrange to get different certificates from Govt. offices and ensure compliance of the same throughout the Company and maintain the database
- Provide and monitor outsource supply services to ensure efficient and cost-effective functioning
- Arrange timely submission of Govt. returns, ensure payment of all utility bills and Govt. dues and maintain proper records and filing thereof
- Coordinate and guide the admin in-charges of Tejgaon, Rupganj and Shitalpur site for maintaining effective public relations with relevant Govt. and other important agencies in their respective location
- Ensure compliance of country labour laws, rules & regulations throughout the company

What You Bring to us
Experience and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- MBA/Masters with specialization in Human Resource Management/Industrial Relation is highly preferable
- Minimum 15 years of functional level experience in IR, Admin and Government Relations preferably in multinational companies
Additional- Strong problem-solving capability
- IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Highly organized and able to manage a broad portfolio of activities
- Strong communications skill - effective presentations at all levels & negotiation
