Purpose of the position

  • Responsible for Planning of all purchases and ensuring timely deliveries for uninterrupted operations.
  • Developing new Vendors and alternative products for achieving highest level of Cost benefit for the Company.
  • Planning the Material Requirement and organizing procurement as per the set standards 
  • Lead time analysis and reduction of raw materials stock.
  • Strategic partnership with key suppliers for continuous improvement and cost reduction.
  • Identify and source all capital goods as per yearly CAPEX & OPEX budget with the overall objective of cost reduction & timely availability of materials.
Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Analyze local and international market regarding supplier and commodity price, other qualitative and quantitative issue, develop new and potential vendors
  • Coordinate with other functions regarding comparative of different offers, enquiry, follow up to the point of use for local purchase
  • Process purchase orders as per the requisition given by the users
  • Manage suppliers' relationship process including supplier evaluation, selection, development and appraisal
  • Getting the facts, setting objectives and determine strategies for negotiation that the price increase can be avoided, products and services can be procured with in target and relationship can be maintained at the desired level
  • Manage the contracts to mitigate supply risk, litigation, product liability, negligence claims and identify responsibilities
 

What You Bring to us

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, MBA with specialization in Supply Chain is highly preferable
  • At least 1-2 years functional level experience in procurement
Additional
  • IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Highly organized and able to manage a broad portfolio of activities
  • Strong communications skill - effective presentations at all levels & negotiation
  • High quality personal governance and commitment to organizational values
  • Strong problem-solving capability
