We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Project Coordinator who will support the project manager and team by handling organizational and administrative tasks to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards in Bangladesh. This is a pivotal role for someone passionate about literacy, education, and community development.

Job Context:

Project Planning,Implementing and Reporting.

Key Responsibilities;

Planning & Scheduling

  • Assisting in project planning and defining project scope, objectives, and requirements.
  • Coordinating and managing schedules, resources, and information using project management software like Asana, Trello, or MS Project.
  • Tracking project progress against deadlines and milestones, updating timelines as needed.
  • Organizing and facilitating meetings, including preparing agendas, recording meeting minutes, and tracking action items. 

Documentation & Reporting

  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, such as project plans, scope statements, risk logs, and change logs.
  • Preparing and distributing progress reports and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensuring all project activities and documentation adhere to quality standards, frameworks, and regulatory requirements. 

Communication & Coordination

  • Serving as a central liaison and point of contact between project teams, stakeholders, clients, and external vendors/suppliers.
  • Facilitating effective communication channels to ensure everyone is informed of project developments and updates.
  • Fostering team collaboration and resolving minor conflicts or issues among team members. 

Budget & Resource Management

  • Assisting with budget monitoring and expense reporting.
  • Tracking expenditures, managing invoices, and processing purchase orders to ensure financial prudence.
  • Supporting resource allocation, ensuring the team has the necessary equipment and tools at the right time. 

Risk & Issue Management

  • Identifying potential risks or issues and escalating them to the project manager when necessary.
  • Maintaining an issue tracker and supporting the resolution of problems through proper follow-up. 

Admin Support

  • Handle administrative tasks, manage paperwork, and support project managers with daily operations. 

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, international development, or business administration); Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in program or project management, preferably in the non-profit or education sector.
  • Proven track record of working with international donors and managing small teams.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in Bangla and English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to build and nurture relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Financial literacy, including budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and legal frameworks for NGOs in Bangladesh
  • Problem-solving and risk management
  • Passion for education and literacy initiatives.

Salary: BDT (18,000 - 20,000) monthly (The salary is negotiable based on the candidate’s experience and skills.)
