The Leprosy Mission (TLMI-Bangladesh) is an international Christian organization and it is
working on the arena of leprosy control, community base rehabilitation, advocacy and research.
The TLMI-B is implementing in 6 divisions of Bangladesh. This organization invites
applications from the suitable candidates for the following position.
Position: Monitoring and Documentation Manager (1)
Job location: Dhaka based
Overall Responsibility: The position of the Monitoring & Documentation Manager is one of the
mid level program staffs. The MDM is reportable to the Program Support Coordinator for his
overall activities. The role is meant:
- to promote Leprosy Mission’s values and ethical and displays cultural, gender, religion, race,
nationality.
- to ensure efficient M&D of TLMI-B supported programs and partners in Bangladesh.
- develop a comprehensive and participatory monitoring system considering projects and
reporting needs.
- assist in new project proposal and concept paper development.
- ensure that all project design include a clear monitoring framework.
- develop accountable record keeping system that ensures information flow from community,
staff, management and partners.
- assist program team for quality documentation. Collect and analysis key performance
indicator at country level.
- assist team for monitoring, reporting skill development.
- support for TLM resource space and TLMI-B websites. Assist in regards of preparing
documentation, managing the IT section.

Required Skills and Experience
Education:
- Minimum Masters Degree in English, Development Studies or Social Sciences or another relevant discipline.
Experience:
- Preferably a minimum of 5 years working experience in an international/reputed national organisation in monitoring and documentation.
- Demonstrated ability in the use of participatory quantitative and qualitative methods including questionnaire design, survey techniques, and participatory approaches
- Proven strong report writing skills, ability to present monitoring data and survey finding clearly
- Have proven expertise in monitoring and documentation system development.
- Skills in developing tools for community based participatory monitoring
- Advanced skill in IT and software based data processing
- Should be viewed by others as approachable and supportive, able to give constructive criticism
- Experience with project proposal and concept paper development and overall project cycle
management will be an additional advantage
- Able to train and develop others
- Willing to travel district level projects by using public transportation
- Have innovative though to create something excellent new that is relevant to TLMI-B
program and activities.

- Ability to think clearly and analytically.
- Ability to plan own work, setting priorities and complete it under pressure or when faced
with competing demands.
- A strong commitment to gender sensitive, inclusive and pro-poor development work.
- Ability to work with multi-disciplinary team.
Salary or Benefit package: Monthly gross salary will be Tk. 45000.00 (negotiable). Other
benefits including Provident Fund, Gratuity, Festival allowance will be as per the organizational
policy.
