LAUGFS Gas Bangladesh is one of the largest LPG distributors in Bangladesh, importing and distributing over 40,000 MT of LPG every year. We are looking an individual with a passion to achieve excellence, to join the LAUGFS Gas Bangladesh team and fill the below positions as we strive towards global expansion.
Chief Financial Officer

THE POSITION

  • Directly assist the leadership in developing a strategic vision, medium & long term sustainable business plan in order to achieve business objectives shared with Board of Directors for LAUGFS GAS Bangladesh.
  • Ensure that the financial statements are prepared in conformity with all related Local and International Accounting Standards.
  • Actively participate in the preparation of annual budgets, comparison actual performance against budgets, proactively
    identifying and analyzing variances and devise & monitor the implementation of necessary actions to manage/improve
    the same.
  • Timely submission of tax returns and settlement of tax liabilities while ensuring complete compliance with prevailing
    tax laws.
  • Identify the weaknesses in current financial processes & people and re-engineer the same to increase the efficiency &
    effectiveness to face current & future business challenges.
  • Initiate, review, assess and implement programmes for continuous improvement, recommending appropriate techniques for systems and efficiencies in cost management.
  • Responsible for overall leadership for the Finance team and part of the management team of LAUGFS Gas Bangladesh providing assistance for operational plus financial decision making for the business.
  • Representation on behalf of the company with internal & external stake holders on various financial business requirements.

THE PERSON

  • Over 8 - 10 years of post-qualifying experience in a leading and managing the Finance vertical of the business.
  • Full professional qualification in the field of Finance along with a graduation from a reputed university will be an added advantage.
