Assistant Officer/ Officer- Litigation Management

Position Overview:

The Legal Affairs Specialist will be responsible for managing litigation matters, ensuring legal compliance, and maintaining coordination with regulatory bodies. The role requires expertise in handling recovery suits, corporate legal issues, and liaising with government authorities to safeguard the organization’s legal interests.

Litigation Management:

  • Oversee and manage all legal proceedings related to the organization, including recovery suits, corporate disputes, and compliance-related matters.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain case documents, ensuring timely submission of legal filings.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel and provide necessary support to strengthen litigation strategies.
  • Represent the organization in court hearings and other legal proceedings, as required.
  • Monitor case progress, attend court hearings with relevant officials and advocates, and provide updates to senior management.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between the organization and legal entities to expedite legal actions and resolutions.

Liaison & Coordination:

  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with government bodies, regulatory agencies, and other relevant authorities for legal and compliance matters.
  • Ensure timely responses to inquiries, notices, and directives from regulatory and judicial authorities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to assess and mitigate legal risks while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide legal guidance on organizational policies, contracts, and agreements to mitigate potential risks.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Law (LLB)
  • Master of Law (LLM)

  • At least 2 year(s)

    • Banks,Law Firm

Additional Requirements

  • Age at most 34 years
  • Both males and females are allowed to apply
  • Candidates will get preference who are enrolled as advocate of Bangladesh Bar Council and or Supreme Court of Bangladesh
  • Willingness to travel as required for legal proceedings.
  • Ability to work independently while ensuring timely legal actions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with external legal counsel, courts, and government agencies.
