Position: Emergency Consultant

Job Description :  

• Act in accordance with local protocols and standard operating procedures to provide the best possible healthcare for patients
• On a clinical shift:
  • Be responsible for the clinical management of patients attending the Emergency Department.
  • Supervise junior medical officers and nurses.
  • Advise and support other non-medical staff in the Emergency Department
  • Working with the senior nurse to ensure the effective operation of the Department
  • Lead the trauma team and cardiac arrest calls and any emergency code
• Assess patients that enter the emergency room immediately and oversee emergency patients’ recovery.
• Conduct follow-up visits to monitor the patient’s condition
• Plan appropriate investigation, treatment, and patient care
• Refer patients to appropriate specialists and ensure treatment
• Coordinate with different ER departments to ensure patients receive the necessary treatment.
• Contribute to and support the hospital Emergency Planning, and Preparedness

Employment Status:

• Full-Time

Educational Requirements:

• FCPS in Critical Care or MRCP/MD in Critical Care.

Experience & Additional Requirements:

• 2 – 5 years’ experience in a Critical Care.
• Age 30 - 45 Years.
• Non – Smoker.
