Position: Chief Nurse and Nurse Educator, Labaid Hospital

Job Responsibilities :

• Determining goals, aims, objectives and policies of the Nursing Services;
• Decision making and recommending personnel (rostering) and material requirement (budgeting) for running various Nursing departments of the hospital;
• Ensuring patient-centric, safe, compassionate and efficient care is rendered in the various departments of the Hospital;
• Conducting regular hospital rounds;
• Implementing Nursing quality and Infection control in all units of the hospital;
• Ensured that all committees are functional and in compliance with the NABH standards;
• Ensured that all Quality Indicator data are documented and reported to the NABH office regularly/Quarterly;
• Conducting Nursing trainings for all Nurses;
• Any other responsibilities given by the Management.

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

• B.Sc in Nursing from a from a reputed University/Institute;
• MBA in Hospital & Healthcare Management will be advantageous;
• The ideal candidate must have 8 -10 years of practical experience in NABH accredited tertiary care hospital(s);
• Must be result-oriented, having proven technical and leadership capabilities;      
• Functional proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking) in both English and Bengali.
• Should have hands-on knowledge of computerized information systems.
